$KATA token
$KATA is the Katana Inu ecosystem token. On Katama, paying with $KATA grants a up to +10% bonus credits (scaling with how much $KATA you hold) on every $KATA payment — every other payment method (card, crypto) is also accepted at face value.

Why we have it
- Up to +10% bonus credits — added automatically on every $KATA payment; scales with holding: 1% from $100 · 2% from $250 · 3% from $500 · 5% from $1k · 6% from $5k · 10% from $10k. 7-day hold · live rate.
- Buyback & burn — 10% of net profit becomes $KATA bought from market and burned.
- On-chain proof — the per-user daily log on Base includes the user's share of that day's burn, attributable on Basescan.
What it is NOT
- Required to use Katama. The token is optional — every studio runs on card or crypto-without-$KATA just fine.
- Pre-mined or freshly issued. $KATA has been live since the Katana Inu game launch in 2021.
- A yield asset. It's a bonus-credits + burn token — value accrues by reduced supply, not yield.
